Donnelle’s first novel, completed a year ago, is about depression, a call girl, and suicide. In the novel you meet Julius, Grace, and Veronica. Through these three riveting voices, Donnelle tells the story of how a man searches for solace on the bellies of prostitutes, while his poetic wife confronts her own circumstances, and how a call girl, who crosses paths with Julius, deals with her own gritty reality and the demons that haunt her mother.
